Swim Your Energy: breaststroke
Do the breaststroke with your energy. See it move as you pull your arms down to your side. When the tips of your fingers meet. Roll the backs of your hands together in a kind of reverse praying action. Then raise them up over your head and turn them out. See your energy moving as you do this. Add your breath to the exercise. Breathe in as you pull your arms down and exhale out as you push the energy up and out through your crown chakra. You can make this as big as you like dropping the energy way below your feet and way above your head. Do at least 40 energy breaststrokes. This will get the channeled energy moving smoothly. Your energy is already doing this, and you are just consciously participating in moving it along. Adding this movement with your conscious breathing will assist you in embodying source energy.
Walking Channel Breath.
Do the channel breath as you are going for a walk or a run. I have adapted this exercise from Dr sue Morter’s channel breathing.
See your energy running down from above your crown chakra into the earth and back up to the sky. See it as a ball of energy. Know that the ball of energy is your energy. Contract your root chakra (mula banda), heart chakra, throat chakra and your third eye as you do this. Hold this contraction as you watch the ball of energy rise and fall. Take each breath in as you step on your right foot and exhale out as you step on your left foot. And then switch by bringing the energy up your left foot and out your right foot. If this is too quick, then do it every third or fourth step. Experiment with you own natural stepping and breathing rhythms.
It is easiest if your match your energy visualization to your breathing as you exercise. You can also match your breathing to your steps. Once you have coordinated your breathing to your steps, then add the visualization of the ball of energy coming up from the earth and ascending into the heavens and returning back down into the center of the earth. If you can’t contract all four chakras at the same time, then start with the easiest one. For me that is the root chakra.
You don’t have to do a big contraction. You can simply do a notice or a tiny squeeze that says hello. How are you. Then add another chakra by noticing it as you walk along. Eventually you can notice two at the same time. And then three and four. When I do all four, I feel like Sylvester Stallone. I’ve always wondered where his power came from. He has his chakras pulled back against his spine. You can see it when he walks. Can you walk with the power of Sylvester Stallone?
