Magic through Joy
This morning’s sunrise was magnificent. A bright polished copper sun rising above the “V” formed by the roof of the stable building meeting the slope of the roof of the granary building. The polished copper ball peeked over the “V” in front of a pastel water colored painted pink and lavender sky. The sight took my breath away as I began my morning prayer with gratitude. It’s so easy to feel grateful when that site is in front of you. I know that my gratitude is heartfelt when tears come to my eyes.
From gratitude I wondered what aspect of God would come to me today. It was Healing. I wasn’t sure of the word until after the vison and then I asked. What was my word for today? Duh. It was Healing.

Vision: Fairy tale Healing
There is a person in front of me. I zip him open down the front of his body. And then I take out the frogs. There are six of them. Funny, I think. To take out frogs. Why frogs? Frogs are funny. They aren’t bad.
The frogs hop around and then they dissipate as they go out into the universe. I zip the person back up. I am not aware whether it is a man or woman. It doesn’t seem to be either.
Then I think. Oops! I should put something back in to take up the space of the frogs. I shouldn’t leave the person hollow. So, I unzip the person again and pour flowing Joy inside from a watering can. I simply fill him up with Joy. Then I zip him back up.
I think that I probably didn’t have to remove the frogs. I could just transform them into Joy. Frogs are so full of laughter any way. But most people want the things distressing them to be removed. The mind thinks that we have to remove these things. So, I am appeasing the mind when I do this kind of psychic surgery. But it isn’t really necessary. We can simply transform the energy where it is and move on.
Funny, I thought of turning frogs into princes. Isn’t that a metaphor? So, the person in front of me was definitely a man. I was simply turning his frogs into princes. So, was it the kiss of Love? It was the Magic of Joy. I poured in Joy water. Joy is an aspect of Love.
The question on the back cover of my 2nd book, Beyond Joy, says, “What if your life is a fairy tale waiting to be written by you?” I guess it is.
