Energy of Purpose
He who works with his hands is a laborer. He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman. He who works with his hands, his head and his heart is an artist. –St. Francis of Assisi
Dream: Entrainment
I am lying on the ground with my face flat against it. Then I notice that I am flowing forward. It is as if I have become a puddle. I like flowing. It is such an easy way to move forward. Then I wonder if I could flow upward. I flow upward as if I am flowing up a wall. It is quite magical. I think, this is fun. Then I think to just hang out up in the air. So, I rise up into the sky and look down. I think, this is an easy way to get around. Just flowing.
The next morning, I told John about my dream. He said, Hmmm. He told me that before he went to sleep, he was reading a book about writing. It was a section on writing about objects. The objects he read about were puddles. Most examples were people jumping and splashing in puddles. But the last example was a person who became the puddle. I said. Hmmm. Synchronicity. He said No, entrainment. I said. Both.
Synchronicity and Entrainment
I often hear his thoughts. Sometimes I hear him singing a song. I think that it might be my song. But I ask him what song is going through his head. I start singing a song and it is the exact same place that it is going on in his head. I know that it is not my song because I don’t have songs going through my head. He does twenty- four/seven. Often times I have a thought. We have a thought. I ask was that my thought or yours? Often times we can’t tell. That is entrainment. We have lived together for over fifty years. I guess we are like old clocks that just tick tock together.

Two are more powerful than one. The Universe brings us together in entrainment so that we are more powerful. So that we can live our purpose together more powerfully.
Techniques for Finding your Path
- Answer these questions:
- What makes your heart sing?
- What can you do for Hours without stopping?
- What do others tell you that you are really good at?
- Bring your heart into your mind. Take 7 breaths. Sit in that place. Observe the infinite possibility around you. What do you choose?
Now you have a choice.
- You can comment.
- You can share.
- You can implement.
I would prefer it if you implemented. But I will be happiest if you do all three. Please join the Joy Project Community by leaving your email address below.
