Truth Presence and Wonder
Truth is hiding under a rock, and Presence is right here lying in wait as Wonder hovers in anticipation of the next right action. I see this as I see that truth is represented by Snake winding and unwinding. Presence is represented by Alligator lying in wait and Hummingbird hovers in the anticipation of Wonder.
Why is truth under a rock? Why don’t we see it immediately? Why do we have to look for it? Truth is what is there even when we don’t look at it. But what is there without us looking at it? The biocentrists tell us that nothing is there before we look at it. They tell us that we create what is there by our looking at it. But then what are we looking at if nothing is there? The materialist says that only that which can be proven exists. Even though they agree that the person who is doing the observing is affecting the outcome of the observation. Or Some spiritualist would say that space is there with potentiality. I like potentiality. That gives me a clean slate to choose the life I want to live and to surround myself with the conditions that would make it easy to bring my choices into being. So, the truth is that potentiality exists.
Tradition is the illusion of permanence—Woody Allen
The truth is also that the present moment is all that is. There is no past to inform or limit our current decisions. We can pretend and use the past to inform us so that we don’t make the same mistakes. That is a good thing. But there is the danger also that the past will limit us in the present moment. If we believe in causation, then just like this statement, our present moment is dictated by the past. It is a limitation and we are locked into it. If we believe in causation, then our future is predicated on our present moment. But in the present moment, there is no past or future and there is no causation. There is only now and potentiality. When causation ceases to exist then we are free to choose whatever we decide.
The truth seems hidden under a rock, but it is in plain sight. The presence is always at our feet. Wonder hovers above the ground. It leans back slightly, takes a look and then darts in.
Hover, back, dart in, repeat, hover, back, dart in, repeat. Wonder is a spiritual experience.
Truth and presence are grounding unless we raise them up into the heart space where we consider our spirituality to reside. Then they seem spiritual. In truth there is no difference between what is grounded and what is spiritual. They are the same. We separate them so that we can take a look at the purity of their energies.
Together they all make up the totality or unity of God. They are just conditions and tools that we use to better and more easily navigate this earth plane living. The science of materiality has sent people to the moon and has cures for diseases. Believing in that kind of materiality is useful to our lives. But there is another side to that coin. And that side is not believing in our self-worth or our ability to choose what happens or the direction in our lives.
If everything sat in the unity of all things or potentiality, we would feel and experience nothing. And we are here to experience. We are separate beings in order to have the experience we are having. So, there is truth, wonder and presence with a past and a future. It exists so that we can explore why and wonder about it. So that we can ask what is the cause of this or that? None of it is true beyond our wondering. It is simply a possibility of the truth.
How does this help us in our lives? It gives us the power of choice. It allows us to unshackle ourselves from our beliefs and from our past. It allows us to let go of any anxiety we hold about our future.
Techniques for Truth.
- By the law of divine grace and all that is light I (state your name) now accept that I choose from the space of the present moment.
- Be in gratitude for your breath. Thank your breath for supporting your life. Say thank you breath. Say this at least 5 times as you watch your breath. Do this several times during your day. Your breath brings you into the present moment.
Have you ever considered about adding a little bit
more than just your articles? I mean, what you say
is fundamental and everything. However think about
if you added some great pictures or videos to give your posts more, “pop”!
Your content is excellent but with pics and videos, this site could certainly be one
of the most beneficial in its niche. Awesome blog!
